Make Yourself at Home
Relax and Get Ready
The hours before “I do” have a romance all their own. Throughout the estate, The Emma Suite upstairs and The Barclay Keep below give you and your closest people room to gather, get ready, and settle into the excitement of the day. Between finishing touches, shared toasts, and those last few moments together, the estate becomes part of the anticipation as the ceremony draws closer.
Open Air Vows
Walk into Wedded Bliss
Set across the expansive lawn of the estate, guests gather with White Clay Creek State Park stretching around them and Emma’s Pond glistening in the distance. All eyes turn toward the estate as the front doors open, revealing your grand entrance to loved ones gathered from near and far. From there, make your way across The Chestnut Hill lawn and down the aisle, setting the scene for the vows ahead.
Cue the Cocktails
Out to the Patio, Into the Parlor
Cocktail hour takes over the first floor of the estate, flowing from the dining room and parlor out onto the front and back brick patios. Glasses are raised, hors d’oeuvres are passed, and conversations carry from room to room as everyone settles into that unmistakable post-ceremony glow. Inside, outside, and somewhere in between, the house is officially in celebration mode.
Among the Ruins
Starlight Over the Solarium
Wrapped within the frame of the original stone barn ruins, the Solarium brings the celebration into a setting entirely its own. Beyond the old stone walls, White Clay Creek State Park stretches in every direction, keeping the surrounding landscape beautifully in view. Enchanted trees glow from within as evening settles in and the stars come out to dance.
